INTERNATIONAL YOUTH PARLIAMENT
Greetings friends and colleagues from the International Youth Parliament!
We are writing today to BOTH invite you to apply to the next sitting of the International Youth Parliament, IYP2004 and call for your assistance to reach out to new and emerging young leaders and activists from across the globe.

2) Can you help us engage the next generation of social change leaders?
We want to reach young activists and leaders (18 - 25) working in their communities to affect positive social change. PLEASE take a moment to send the info below on to your networks. EVEN BETTER print out 5 copies of the application form from the IYP website and POST or HAND DELIVER copies to young people you know who don't have email / internet access.
Help give other emerging activists and leaders the opportunity to build skills, network and develop solutions for a more equitable, peaceful and sustainable world.

The International Youth Parliament is a dynamic global network of creative young people working for social change - people turning ideas into action. Run by and for young people it is a global network of the next generation of social change leaders working to build a peaceful, sustainable and equitable world. The second sitting of the International Youth Parliament, IYP2004 will take place in Sydney, Australia from 5 to 12 July 2004. We ask you to assist us find the right delegates. Applications close 15 January 2004.

Delegates selected to attend IYP 2004 will receive a unique opportunity to exchange their experiences and the strategies they employ to confront local and universal challenges. They will leave with skills, networks, inspiration and an international context to assist them with their endeavours in their own organisations and countries.
The Parliament agenda will focus on twelve major areas; education, HIV/AIDS, labor and employment; indigenous rights, migration, trafficking and displacement, agriculture and sustainability, peace-building, human rights, health and clean water; youth culture, technology, and global trading systems. Across these areas special attention will be paid to the themes of diversity, equity, governance and basic social services.
We are seeking applications from people aged 18-25 who are passionate about and have been actively involved in projects aiming at positive social change in the above areas.

Dirigé °ar et pour les jeunes, il s'agit d'un ré³¥au mondial de la prochaine g鮩ration de leaders du changement social travaillant à £onstruire un monde pacifique, durable et é±µitable. La deuxiè¥ session du Parlement International des Jeunes, le PIJ 2004 aura lieu à “ydney, Australie du 5 au 12 Juillet 2004. Nous vous demandons de nous aider à ´rouver les bon(ne)s d鬩gu騥)s. Les candidatures seront closes le 15 Janvier 2004.

El Parlamento Internacional de la Juventud es una red de j󶥮es que trabaja para un cambio social, transformando las ideas en acció®® Dirigida por y para j󶥮es, es una red mundial de la pró¸©a generació® ¤e lí¤¥res del cambio social, trabajando en la forja de un mundo equitativo, sostenible y de paz. La segunda sesió® ¤el Parlamento Internacional de la Juventud, IYP2004, tendrá ¬ugar a Sydney, Australia, del 5 al 12 de julio de 2004. Te pedimos ayudarnos encontrar los delegados apropiados. Buscamos solicitudes de personas de entre 18 y 25 añ¯³ de edad que sean apasionadas y que hayan tomado parte activa en proyectos que pretendan producir cambios sociales positivos en los campos mencionados.
